Naturopathic Doctor/Colon Hydrotherapist Dr. Julia Whipkey-Michniewicz began working in the heatlh field at the age of 13 when she volunteered as a candy-striper and received an award for the most hours a candy-striper had ever voluneteered.  In 1982, she received her degree in Surgical Fitting.  She followed that in 1986 with a certificate in Lympnatic Massage.

In 1987, her mother died... "the medical community gave her so much radiation, they burned her lung"... and because of this, Dr. Julia started her own business.  She became an independent contractor and began fitting post-op breast cancer patients with a breast prosthesis and following up with a lymphatic massage.

In 1989, she received her full certificate in Massage Therapy.  She graduated from Trinity College of Natural Health and Healing in 1998 when she received her diploma as a Registered Naturopathic Doctor.

In 2000, Dr. Julia received a nomination from Who's Who due to her dedication and efforts in the field of Naturopathic Medicine.

Dr. Julia is a member of the International Association of Colon Hydrotherapists, the National Association of Certified Natural Health Professionals, the American Association of Nutritional Consultants, is a Hands-on Instructor for Trinity College of Health and Healing, and works as an Infant Massage Instructor and teaches the Natural Healing classes for Rock Valley College.
